Do You Need Shelter?
Participants at any of our three locations agree to live sober and free of drugs and to weekly case management sessions. Participants also assist with the upkeep of the sites both for each other and for the wider neighborhood.
Not everyone is ready for this step and that’s ok! Let us help you navigate to another safe place for the time being.

About Central Oregon Villages
Since 2022, Central Oregon Villages has provided temporary outdoor shelter and case management services for our Bend, Oregon community members who are in critical need of a safe place to rest and take on the tasks necessary to successfully obtain and retain housing.
We have three locations: Benson Way Village - 20 units, Bond Street Safe Parking - 2 units, and coming in February 2025, the Dean Swift Annex - 6 units.
In order to ensure safety and success for all participants, our programs require that those sheltered live sober and drug free and pass a physical assault and sexual abuse criminal background check.
